SmallNethostGui v0.2 released
lame has just updated SmallNethostGui to v0.2. Nethost, in a nutshell, is an application which allows you to use your PC's hard-disk, in much the same way as you would use it in USBHost. The only difference is that the experience will be wireless and much more enjoyable since you won't be wired to your PC.

Here's the changelog for the latest version:

NEW -

Values are stored in an ini file, not in the registry.
Ported to Delphi, no need of NET 2.0.
GUI functions for usbhostfs included.

Improved Port Handling, no need to activate it manually.
Removed "runas" functionality

You will still need the actual USBHostfs.exe and NetHostfs.exe files which are linked below. Also attached in the main release file is the readme, which contains instructions on how to get it going. Please make sure to read it beforehand.

we featured an article about homebrew developer lame's creation, SmallNethostGui. Contrary to his forum handle bad credit loan, this app is something really useful. Take it from some people who comment on that earlier article. Basically, the app houses a USBHost and a NEThost. And lame recently stopped by our forums to share version 0.2.1 of his app.

According to lame "nethostfs.exe is a tool to open your pc folders over (and for) the network (like usbhostfs.exe do it over usb) for the PSP (and others i think) debt management. With the right app, like irShell 2.x, you can access the opened folders. Best example is to stream your pmp files to the integrated PMP AVC player from irShell 2.2 over wifi."

As to how to use it, you could refer to that earlier article for the usage, options, and shortcut buttons tidbits. The dev was kind enough to provide two packages to choose from - you could download the Full package which includes the GUI property search, readme, usbhostfs, and nethostfs; or you could opt to get the Lite package which only has the GUI and readme. Whichever package you decide to get, you'd have to do some reading. Here's the changelog:
