Homebrew Developer Art has been working hard on his PSP Homebrew application known as Road Dog.

Road Dog V2 comes with a sleuth of advancements over the older versions.

So if you don't have Road Dog v2 or have an older version its time to upgrade and get those pesky glitches in some of the older versions extinguished!

Sony released PSP firmware 3.80 and this time it really feels like they are back to adding features to their updated instead of miniscule "security updated". The PSP is ever growing in it's homebrew journey and Dark Alex, Fanjita (Or any able PSP coder) is; I'm sure; working already on everything from a HEN (Homebrew Enabled) version of 3.80 to a full blown downgrade from 3.80 to 1.50 or 1.00 if that's what you prefer.

Dark Alex comes back with his update for Custom Firmware 3.71 M33-3 to M33-4. If you are staying ontop of your PSP's firmware and always install the latest custom firmware on your PSP this is worth downloading!

Homebrew developer Art has come out with version 1.0 oh his WiFi Sniffer Road Dog for homebrew enabled PSP users.

This nifty program runs like any other homebrew application but instead of playing a game, it continuously searches for Wifi hotspots as you approach them. If you haven't quite got the grasp of this program yet, think of it as an internet finder for your PSP or other mobile devices such as a laptop or anything else that uses a wireless internet connection. You can the airwaves with Road Dog, and the program displays all currently detected wireless connections within your PSP's reach.

SCEA San Diego has just released a PSP demo of NBA '08 offering a blimpse of the fullversion. Although its a demo and not the fully fledged game, this will give you a chance to try the game before you buy the game which to me is always a plus when you are dealing with games on any console.

I've played OpenTyrain which is a topdown scrolling SiFi shooter and I have to say, this game is addictingly good! Its got great gameplay, easy controls and its just pure fun! You control a spacecraft, weild awesome upgradeable weapons and shoot anything that moves! This game doesn't stop there.

You can upgrade your whole ship with bigger better equiptment, the options for OpenTyrain are plentyful so you can customize the game to how you want to play and best of all, you can play it on your PSP! preacticly anywhere!

Heres another Emulator plucked from the PSP hombrew developer Zx-81.

This homebrew emulator imitates the TI99/4 model. TI99Sim is a very good emulator of Thomson TI99 home computer running on Windows and Unix. The emulator faithfully imitates the TI99/4 model..

So break out thise old games you written on your TI and have a blast with them on your PSP!

Believe it or not, thanks to homebrew developer ccpspita its come to a point in the PSP homebrew scene where PSP users are able to fully utilize their PSP with functions like:

* Speech synthesis and speech recognition backed up by two-way VVoIP (voice and video over IP) - simultaneous video and audio streaming

While Homebrew developer Yan2Yan's Elemental is alot like Tetris where you have to line up four or more blocks of the same color and clear them from your path as more blocks are constantly being added for a sense of doom and gloom if you run out of space. Yan2Yan also was kind enough to allow Elemental players to customize the game's background by placing an image into a specific folder (data/gfx/skins) and then placing the values on a config.txt file, easy enough.

The team in charge of the PSP homebrew application known as ScummVM has made some awesome upgrades to its game lineup by adding on support for such great games as: Elvira - Mistress of the Dark,Elvira II - The Jaws of Cerberus, and Waxworks(Amiga version).

PSP Homebrew developer Netaro has come out with Invaders version 1.1 introducing some great bug fixes.

Netaro was also kind enough to include the game's source code incase some of you wanted to much around and create your own personal mods or addons! Thanks Netaro!

• Triple bullets, pretty self explanatory
• Powerplus, with every collected, bullets deal more damage.
• 4 randomized backgrounds, all thanks to Google search engine.
• Each new wave of enemies is stronger, so they take more hits to be killed but also yield more points to the score.
